Hello,

I just read your post and wanted to say I shared some of the experiences you had. I have been macrobiotic for about a month and a half now. Just like you now that my food has changed and my tastes have changed I feel literally 100% better, more vibrant and lots of energy (Not to mention I'm a type I diabetic and had to cut my medication by more than half immediatly). I also found that I really don't miss what I've cut out either, I mean it tastes great and all I just don't have the craving or you could say addiction anymore hah.

Its interesting to try to explain people what kind of diet you're on. Like you said I could basically say I'm vegan but then again that tends to go back to the whole vegan, tree-hugging, animal rights stereotype, not to say that thats bad but most people just don't care enough to understand it. So I just say its kinda like being a vegan (no dairy, meat, sugars) except I eat some fish and really just cator to what works for me then most people understand.

I've had alot of fun with it as well, cooking is probably one of my favorite things to do as 2 months ago all I could cook was oatmeal :- But its cool to see other peoples experiences with their dietary habits, transitions and personal experiences so I thought I'd just leave a comment :-)
